Description
This program illustrates the splendor of wedding ceremonies in the Cap Bon region through the wedding costume of Nabeul. The illustration highlights the “Grand Robe”, a monumental piece entirely covered with golden embroidery with floral and geometric motifs, worn during the “Jlowa” ceremony. The symbolism of this costume, presented on a support reminiscent of the bride's presentation rites, evokes fertility and protection.
