Description
This stamp commemorates Tunisia's participation in the Universal Exhibition in Seville in 1992. Sadok Ben Yacoub's illustration is resolutely futuristic and metaphorical: it presents an electronic chip (micro-processor) from which emerges a stylized eye whose pupil is a terrestrial globe, struck by a rainbow light beam. This imagery highlights the information age and the mastery of new technologies, positioning Tunisia as a nation resolutely focused on technological progress and global communication, central themes of the Spanish exhibition.
