This stamp illustrates a vigorous orange tree laden with fruit, with a detail of two Maltese oranges. Considered the "best orange in the world", it is mainly grown in the fertile Cap Bon region.
La Maltaise is a national treasure. This stamp celebrates the richness of the Tunisian terroir and the importance of citrus growing which, in spring, fills the entire region with the aroma of orange blossom (neroli).
