This 60 millime Tunisian stamp represents the Jérid region, a vast oasis area located in the southwest of Tunisia, known for its date palm forests and its essential role in oasis agriculture. The illustration depicts an emblematic landscape where palm trees form a natural arch, in the heart of which inhabitants move, evoking daily life in these thousand-year-old oases.
