Description
The Genoese Fort of Tabarka is an iconic historic fortress located on a rocky promontory overlooking the coastal town of Tabarka in northwest Tunisia. Built in the 16th century (around 1542), this monument bears witness to the time when the city was a strategic trading post controlled by the Republic of Genoa.
