The Jérid or Djérid (Arabic: الجريد), literally "date palm", is a semi-desert region extending to the southwest of Tunisia and including a small part in Algeria and Libya. Administratively, this natural region is the heart of the governorate of Tozeur. Date palm in the Tozeur oasis.
